Are nappies/diapers/pampers poisonous to dogs?

An odd question I know, but without going into the nauseating details my dog Roy emptied the bin this morning and most of the contents, including (gulp) the nappies with their own delightful content… hmm savoury.

The nappies are ripped and all the crystal like content has been spread across the kitchen, I’ve had a search on the Pampers website (which these were) and can’t see anything relating to the absorbent crystal contents toxicity.

I’m not sure Roy’s eaten very much of it, but does anyone know how toxic this is, would anyone recommend going down the vets immediately or should I wait and see. In the meantime I’m buying a pad lockable kitchen bin.
All the best
