How much do you spend on your 4 legged family members a year?

I broke this out a while ago ....


dog food 40 a month x 12 = 480.00 ( with Purina and dogs perfect to heavy in weight)
heart guard 35 a month x12= 420.00
frontline is approximately 800.00
vet bills this year high but on
average lets say 100 per dog 500.00

toys are mostly stuffed animals
but other dog toys Christmas 100.00


For a scary grand total of 2300.00 a year
this is 5 large dogs add a little more for collars leashes harnesses and such that are needed and 45.00 kennel license which is cheaper than getting all licensed seperate..


Does not include cost of registered pup I bought this year which was 650.00

Also need SAR Vest for 3 of them..Cost Scary between 80 and 150.00 depending on where found and what is on them.

But I look at it they are my kids and if they help save a life or keep 1 small child or lost person from spending a cold night in woods this all means nothing as a life is priceless!
