Christmas Tree and your dog/dogs

This just happened recently: Our dog, Mauser, seems to be interested in the ornaments and tree skirt for our Christmas tree. He uses his nose to move the ornaments, which make sounds, and has taken the tree skirt out from under the tree. It's not a real tree so we don't have to worry about him going potty on it but he seems to be a bit more mischieveous lately when it comes to our Christmas tree. Smile

I never put Juni and a Xmas tree together. Since we got the dog we stopped having a xmas tree. I live in a small apartment and even without Juni we wouldn't have too much space for the tree. So we just skip it. I'm 28 now and I kinda lost the joy of holidays. I work on holidays too (radio station needs to work even in such days) so for me it's just another day in the end ...

RE: Christmas Tree and your dog/dogs

Puky's reaction to the christmas tree realy "scared" me... when she saw it, the first thing she did was leaving a little "present" under it. And for how long the tree stayes in the house, she doesn't do the "business" outside... one day i took her outside and stayed 4 hours in the park. She didn't do anything. But when we went up, she went straight to the tree...
In the end, I teached her that doing her "business" near the xmas tree is not good...
