Did your dog bite anyone?

Some already had the "pleasure" to have a dog that's biten someone. What about your dog?

play nip but to actually bite for the bloodhound that is near impossible because of the loose dangly lips..I had a Dalmation that would attack on demand and have had Katrina victims here bite me during dog fights when I went in to break it up..

Nope. My dogs are about as aggressive as mice. Laughing

I work with aggressive dogs all the time and luckily have only been bitten twice. Once by an out of control Akita, and once by a Golden. Both times were my fault.

I have a bit of a serious problem with russ maybe some one could give me some advice, when he was a pup i use dto take his food off him to train him to let me take things off him, but when it comes to feeding time he will snarl growl bark and bite (turns into wolf mode) we even make a deal of eating before him so he knows who the alpha male is, also he has started chasing and killing rabbits i am worried oneday he may go for a small dog any sugestions? he is normaly such a friendly dog

Training with a shock collar if seen run for a rabbit a mild shock may break him of it.
Maybe keep on leash when outside or in a fenced area.

We did something with deer running dogs but if in house will not work, we used deer hide with fat on it tied to collar and let rot on him so he would be turned from smell of any deer.

Most likely just his predator drive kicking in and the rabbit runs so he chases it.

The food thing how well do you trust if were to take his food back from him will he bite? If sure will not bite take food dish back say no growl and when stops say good boy Russ hand it back then if growls take away again so knows cannot have it til settles. As long as done so he does not think teasing and getting praise when does good may work. But ONLY if sure not get bit.

Thank God, no! If either of my dogs had ever bitten someone (as adults) I've no doubt people would demand they be immediately put to sleep! Having said that....

Romeo was a demon when he was a puppy! He's extremely dominant (still is) as a puppy (8 wks - 16 weeks) and he use to give me some good bites! My roommate at the time was actually afraid of him! LOL

Yes, he's bitten kids mostly (never broke any skin). He'll bite if someone hits another person or tries to hit him. He doesn't like violence or confrontation at all. He doesn't like kids and from what I'm reading, Lhasas, Poodles, Malteses and Shih Tzu are not kid friendly dogs.

Mauser hasn't bitten anyone but when he's playing with us, he does sometimes nip at us which we know is just play fighting.
