Well, sometimes our dogs might know some words too well and we need to talk in "code' so that they don't understand what we talk about. Is this the case with your dog too?

Mauser gets really excited when we talk about doing outside; for a walk or for a ride. We do need to be careful what we say in front of him because he knows what some of our words mean.
Like: when we have to hide his balls because of his back problems, then we may spell the word out so he doesn't know what we're talking about. Laughing

Yes! Angel knows what "go outside" and "feed the dogs" means. So I had to start spelling them out and she STILL understood and got all excited. She's too darn smart for her own good! All the dogs know what "petsmart" means but lucky for me none have figured out how to spell it yet. lol

Oh yeah! We can't say 'walk' or Jake gets SO excited, so we say wa-wa when we're talking to each other. So after that we learnt, and instead of calling the ball a ball, we called it a boo-boo, so if we talk about taking the boo-boo on a wa-wa people think we're nuts Laughing

Yep, we can't say dog or his name so we say "him" or "he"...or like "he's watching us for our reaction" ...stuff like that.
