Does your dog get depressed?

Some of us can swear our dogs were depressed from time to time, others never saw this. Was your doggie ever depressed?

Sometimes Mauser may seem that way but most of the time, he's ready to play.

Junior is depressed when I am away. When I go to a trip or am missing for 2 days or more he won't eat and it takes a lot of work from my folks to convince him not to starve to death ...

I was out of town for 4 days and Stormy the pup took revenge ripped up couch cushion and when I got home he ignored me for 2 days..Everyone else was home but he was mad at me.Usually ask him for a kiss he nuzzles you but when asked him turned his head away..When asked if he still loved me he walked away.Talk about making ya feel guilty!

If I'm sad my dogs will often appear depressed too. They're very in tune with my emotions. Otherwise I can't say they've ever been depressed
