Dog jealousy

I have created a monster I think Very Happy

Junior doesn't want ANY dogs in the house or near us. If we're outside he's more OK with me petting another dog, but in the apartment he's a tyrant. Is there any way we can "calm" him more or are we doomed to not be able to have another dog soul in the house?

He's 8 years old .. btw

hmmm... i asked myself this question many times till now... my dog does that too... only she doesn't let me touch any dog. she comes and pushes it away so i can pet her instead. and if that dog still comes, she barks and growls... I don't know what to do either...

My rescue is like that also he wants all the attention but I make him wait his turn and if keeps it up gets ignored.
