Dogfights

Has any of your dogs gotten into a dogfight? If so, what did you do to break it up? How do you prevent yourself from getting hurt by doing it?

I heard that you should grab their tail and heave them as far as he/she will go. Once they're parted, try to control you dog with sharp commands. Do you believe that this way is effective or not?

Hmm ... grabbing my dog's tail would not be a good thing since I think he'd bite me in all the conflict ... My dog did get into some fights and one was with a Setter that's bigger than him. And the stupid master who had the dog in the leash just didn't know what to do .. I had to yell at her to grab the leash more serious and raise the dog from it. This way he wouldn't be able to bite or offer my dog the neck area and I was able to drag my monster from the other one ...

I just hate it when it happends. Juni is quite grumpy so I always need to watch out for him ..
