How does your dog get your attention?

If we're not paying attention to Mauser, he'll either jump on our lap or put his ball under something and bark until we get it out for him. When Steve is reading the paper, Mauser will jump up on the chair and get in front of the newspaper and lick Steve in the face.

When he wants to go outside, he'll stand by the door and look at us until we open the door for him.

If Mauser needs to go potty and we're asleep, he'll gently tap one of us on our arm with his paw until we wake up. Then he barks until we get up.

When I am too interested in my forums and not giving him attention he'll come near me, sit and then growl, but very low and almost like a whisper. Then I turn and ask: what's the problem and he comes and turns on the back with the belly up to be caressed. I realise then that i should give hime some attention Very Happy

I would play a bit with him and then return to my work. He stays there, sleeping or anything. The idea is just to get my attention for 2 minutes, then he's OK for a while

If he needs to go out, he runs around in circles in front of us.
