Long or Short Hair?
Do you prefer dogs with long fur or short fur?

It doesn't matter to me. My dogs hair gets really long if we let it and then it gets matted if we're not careful. We get his hair cut down every three months. He doesn't shed with a cut, but he does if it gets too long and I can't take it.
So, if I did have a long haired dog I'd cut it down short anyway.

Juni is in between. I don't have a preference either .. I think some are nice with a long hair, others with a short hair ...

If it were inexpensive to keep long hair I would let my dog keep it, but I would spend about $100 on grooming every two weeks because long hair gets tangled, dirty, matted, etc. Too much work and money to keep. If my dog were in shows then maybe I'd invest money into it beauty.

When I was growing up, we had a dog Muffy, who had long hair. It was always getting matted. Mauser has long hair but during the summer, we get his hair trimmed so he would be more comfortable in the hot weather. Though he is an inside dog.
