I didn't... she was very friendly to kids (and grown-ups) from the start. Sometimes i think she is to friendly. She is definately not a guarding dog... Laughing

I take mine into schools and such but with 5 kids in house they used to it anyways..Bloodhounds are just plain ol people dogs anyway.

mauser will smell them and decide that they're alright and then try to kiss them on the lips. He doesn't seem to have any problems with children.
