Naming your dog
How did you choose the name for your dog?
One of the daycare ladies, from Mike's school, used to have a dog that looked alot like our's and his name was Mauser. So, Mike, when he was 6, decided to call his new puppy Mauser. My husband, Steve, said that there is a German rifle called a Mauser.

We have no dogs yet (see my thread in the other section) but since we have a "theme" we followed in naming our children, we will probably have one in naming our dogs as well.
Example: My oldest's middle name is Orion and my youngest's is Phoenix. Anyone care to guess where we got these names? lol
I think it will be fun coming up with names for our dogs this way. It was certainly interesting when we were naming our sons. lol

we don't have a dog yet . but i have always named my pets by what they look like or the way they act . i have 2 dwarf hamsters one name is cinnamon and the other is stripes . so will most likely do that when we get a dog .
