Pet food recalls

Anyone here been affected by all the pet food recalls just recently?

We use Iams dry dog food and treats; so this didn't affect us but it did scare us. I heard, from one of my classmates, that somehow the rat poisoning, which they put with the bags of food when it's stored, got into the dogfood.
