Table food for dogs

Do you ever give your dog table food?

We do sometimes but are very careful not to give him too much. One time I made spahetti and meatballs for my family. I had put the meatballs on our table and made sure that all of the chairs were up against the table. I went to tell my family that supper was ready. By the time I got back, Mauser had eated all of the meatballs. I don't know how he got up on the table but he did.
Steve had to take Mauser out twice that night to go potty. I was surprised that Mauser didn't get sick. Now I'm more careful about keeping the food on the counter so Mauser can't reach it. Rolling Eyes

Sox gets bits from our meals but never a whole one, i did once know a man who lived alone and every night cooked dinner for two and the dog ate the same as him, whatever it was from egg on toast for breakfast to maybe steak and chips for dinner Confused

Our old dog barnaby was unbeleivably well behaved, you could leave a meal on a plate on the floor alone with him and he wouldn't touch it Confused anything touching the floor was his, other than that he sat and waited.

I don't think it was anything my parents did, just in his nature Confused very cool tho Smile

Junior is always filled with food. He has food constantly in his bowl so he's just not interested in our food. We can sit and eat and he's dozing somewhere. Sometimes he's a bit intersted in steak or other delicases so we give him 1-2 bites. Then he'll just leave us.
