I love ALL breeds. I like a lot the German Shepard and Saint Bernard, but in my country I don't think it's "nice" for me to think about paying for a pure breed dog when thousands die in the streets.

I recall not having a dog for most of my life because I live in a 3 room apartment and a doggie wasn't quite the best idea back then. not to mention I wasn't doing that well, financially speaking. When I got Juni from the streets it was clear we're doing this JUST to save him and not to have a champion pure breed dog to go to contests with.

I would love such a dog, but I find Juni, who's not a breed, but many put together Very Happy is very beautiful and smart, so I just feel rewarded Smile

I have had many hienz 57's in my life but now the hounds all are purebred 2 are registered..I actually had a AKC regional judge ask me to show my female, but that is not why I got the bloodhounds..I got them for the nose and if you ever cross breed a bloodhound they lose all the good temperment. When I sell puppy's they will be sold Search and Rescue..If people want as show dogs they will be charged double as I do not get into it and want the dogs used for what they were bred for.If a person wants as a pet will be a higher fee and contract saying will be fixed as soon as possibly can with age. Also these contracts will have verbage in it that they can not sell these dogs or give them away. They must come back to me if have problems or not what they want..
I have talked so many out of having bloodhounds already,as they think they just lay around do nothing dogs.I would rather teach people make them research the breed thoroughly watch my dogs a bit and really know what getting into before they decide. They are hyper active full of energy, clear a end table with one swip of tail knock down people when excited, can be very stubborn and drool alot. People who have contacted me asking about puppy's have been law enforcement that want for SAR and others who do SAR..One contacted as wanted for pet told em some sent em to places to research and have not heard back.
I tell more people that want pets go to the animal shelter take one of them in unless truly want a bloodhound then tell em Bloodhound rescue if not mind having no papers..Pet grade always need to be fixed and from a rescue is cheaper.

My favorite mixed breed is Lhasa Poo with over 50% of poo. I think full breed Lhasa's are too goofy, but love the way that sit (with their back legs spread out ha!).

Full breed would have to be the Canadian Newfoundland. I first saw one on the Eukanuba Dog Show. I fell in love right away.

I prefer the larger breeds especially the German Shepherds.
