RE: What is your favorite kind of dog

This fall may get another from a friend. His 3 year old female english setter which he planned on breeding jumped out of truck(was stopped in field not moving vehichle) when took to run and pinched nerve in back,so cannot breed now and if hunting hurts her will be coming here as a family friend.Beautiful and loving dog that is very well disciplined. Not a large dog and would fit in well in this house..

I am an Australian lover myself, I own both a Australian Cattle dog(blue heeler) and an Australian Shepherd(Aussie). Both breeds are very smart, although the heelers are tougher to train, and more stubborn. The Aussie's are very easy to train, very smart, very energentic. The heeler is also an energentic dog. I also own a lab-boxer mutt, and he is a water lover.
All my dogs are larger breeds, do not like small dogs. They yap to much for me.Mad

RE: What is your favorite kind of dog

I like them all. I love seeing German Shepherds for instance or our Carpathian Shepherds .. I like Retrievers and Dalmations too.

I have 2 ex-stray dogs. They are not beautiful in the breeding terms since they're far from having perfect shape and colours. But I love them a lot. I don't care if a doggie is dirty or sick or ugly (in our terms). I love them all Smile

RE: What is your favorite kind of dog

I love all dogs, but my favorite has always been the Pekingese. They are so loyal and so very intelligent. They have been some of my very best friends in my life.

RE: What is your favorite kind of dog

I've always wanted to have:

1. a Corgi
2. a Bull Terrier
3. an Amstaff

But I don't know if I can handle an Amstaff right now...maybe later in my life. I like the Bull terrrier breed...I've always considered that their nose resembles mine! And, of course, the Corgi is my favourite...don't really know why. I find them adorable!
