Fireworks

Mauser dislikes them as much as he does storms. We'll have him outside ready to go potty and a firework will sound off and Mauser doesn't want to go potty anymore. Just heads straight for our house.

Juni hates them too. we have "war times" at Xmas and I just hate all the noise and trouble. Juni is just terrified and he's not even interested in going out to potty. Awful ..

Just been told by someone of this stuff you put on the outside of their ear and it calms them during loud noises, will have to go buy some tomorrow and see what is in it and what it does.

We have a big town regatta coming up in a couple of weeks, great weekend but has a huge firework display Sad

One of mine hates them but he's good about laying on his bed if I tell him too untill the storm is over. The other two couldn't care less.

He's heard them once after we got our new house about two years ago and he is terrified. He either hides in between my computer desk and the wall (very very small place) or he runs and hides behinds a toilet and won't come out for long periods of time. I can't do anything about the fireworks, but it makes me sad that he is terrified of it.

My name is Tanya! Smile

A good thing for us in Romania is the there's a new law that's quite tough on people. We just couldn't get some people to stop lighting all kinds of pyrotechnic stuff in the street. We had hundreds of injured people each year (even dead) because of some careless idiots. Now it's getting tough on them and maybe us and our doggies could enjoy the holidays without being afraid to go out since you could never guess when you'd be burnt by some of this stuff thrown to you for 'entertainment' Evil or Very Mad

RE: Fireworks

Doggie saw the first fireworks this new years' night. He did not seem scared or anything, he just stayed put and did not do anything Smile
