We got Mauser when he was six months old. We used to put a gate across the entrance to our kitchen/dinning room. This gave him enough room to roam around. He didn't want to be there so he would chew on the wooden gate and sometimes on our shelves.

There was a product, at Petsmart, that we would spray on the area where he's chewed and sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't.

We purchased some doggie bones for him to chew on and he would use them sometimes. He eventually grew out of the chewing stage.

When Juni was 4-5 months we had something like this too. I still have some marks on the furniture where his teeth were being tested. We just told him No with a very serious voice and give him special bones from the vet to chew on. Little by little we just stopped.

we give the rawhides and chew toys.They all teeth and that is why chewing, we also toss them old stuffed toys and balls to chew on.

we're still working on it ... he just can't stop chewing!

He will stop... eventually His teeth are growing now
