When we got Sox she was mostly all black with little ginger feet that looked like socks, so she was called Sox. My mum originally wanted to call her Dax after the Star Trek character Confused

How we picked Mauser's name.

One of Mike's teachers, used to have a dog that looked just like Mauser, and she called him Mauser. So, Mike decided to call his puppy Mauser. This made my husband, Steve, happy because Mauser is also the name of a German rifle.

Junior was named very simple: he's the smallest in the family Very Happy

Many years I was the single kid, the smallest member in the family. My folks used to reffer to me as "the little one" even when i was 20 Laughing

When I got Juni from the streets he was 2 months old: small and thin. He was small. So I tried to find some name for him: Rex, Rocky and others are so used that I needed something "unique". So .. when I looked at him again I realised he's the smallest one in the family, so he's Junior.

Norma my Golden female was named Norman so we just switched to Norma easier on her..
KR JASMINE NORTHERN DREAMS always been a dream to own a bloodhound for SAR work so northern dreams KR My and my Wifes first initials to use as kennel name so all the hounds get KR..
Rottie well he is spoiled rotten, part rottweiller and had a rotten butt on that 7 hour ride here..

KR QUIET STORM of RIB MOUNTAIN, the Rib Mountain was the breeders kennel Name and they put that in there, we used quiet storm as wanted to call him storm whisperer but then name to long so changed and quiet storm as in calming fears during rough period like a lost family member..
KR ROLLING THUNDER ....He came from a kill shelter and was hoping had a loud voice hence Thunder, rolling meaning moving so Rolling Thunder get the worst out of the way.

My dogs name is Braxton Hartnebrigg and he's named after the character on the Jamie Foxx show. Ha! We didn't want a tiny name for our dog. We wanted something grown up :p.

My name is Tanya! Smile

RE: How did your furbabies get their names?

My dog got her name from my friend, who found her. I don't know where it comes from.
I know Puky is the name of Garflield's toy, but that isn't where her name comes...
