Potty training - any tips?

One of the most important things to teach our dogs is not to "mark their teritory" in the house. Any tips for potty training?

RE: Potty training - any tips?

CoCo is almost 3 years-old and he still has 'accidents' in the how when I'm not home or If I over sleep. Is it too la8te too train him not to potty in the house. I live in an apartment and he can't be let out by himself because of lease rules. He's more of a 'house/backyard' dog than an apartment dog but I refuse to get rid of him. Please tell me there is something I can do in order to get him to FINALLY understand that Momma doe NOT want him to go potty in the house- EVER!

RE: Potty training - any tips?

Don't know what to say ... Juni never does this anymore after being potty trained at 2 months. He did "stuff" on my carpets for 2 weeks, but afterwards it was over ...
