Some tips for a new dog owner

Let's try to get some tips for a new dog owner. I will start with some:

1. Get that dog to the vet right away. Doesn't matter where you got it from. A small check is OK and your vet will tell you the first things you need as a new "parent".

2. Try to crate/potty train the dog. A dog can do the "business" outside, teach him this as soon as possible.

Stop Alpha personality right away.Do not let them get over top of you or stand on your foot. Show them where they belong in the family before a problem starts.
