RE: What words does your dog understand?
Puky knows her name, my name, my bf's name (she goes to him when i tell her, but not all the time), and the words: ball, outside, "what did you do?" (she then puts her tail between her legs and hides under the chair... she's funny when she does that but of course i dont say that only when she does something bad), come here, no...

RE: What words does your dog understand?
Dogs can learn an amazing number of words. I taught my Pomeranian to kiss our Peke. I say "Give Suki a kissie" and she goes straight to Suki and licks her face every time. A lady I know who has a deaf pit bull taught sign language to this dog. I have seen her give the dog commands in sign language and she really understands a lot of different commands.

Yeah, they are indeed very smart. People tend to consider them "dumb" since they cannot speak, but we can communicate with them so nicely it's just amazing.
