I'm a dog trainer and aspiring web designer. I also wait tables on the side for some extra money. I'm not fond of that, but it helps pay the bills.

It's OK, I think there is not 1 job you should be ashamed off, unless you steal or kill. It's a decent job, you are working hard to put the bread on the table. I hope you'll be able to develop as a designer too. I design sites for 4 years and I have learnt it myself. I should be a teacher (Romanian-English), but I am a radio DJ and also work as a freelance designer. It's not impossible. Hard at the begining, but still so nice.
If you need more information, you could always try to look at Webmaster Tips & Tricks. That's another project of mine that promotes this small project a lot ... We can advise you in many issues there.

I am accountant during the day and am trying to design a website at night to start my own on-line bookkeeping business and also work with "KRKennels.com". Alot I don't know but I keep playing around with it. I learn more everyday.
Studying hard right now to take and pass (hopefully) my Enrolled Agent exam, which will help with credibility when I start working on taxes in my on-line bookkeeping business. Always thinking...............but sometimes it gets me in trouble.

I am a SAHM and plan to become a "home educator" in the near future. I stopped working 5 years ago when I became pregnant with my oldest son. I tried working for my husband's parents after my son was born but that was horrible. After that attempt, hubby decided there was more of a need for me at home with our son than working, so that's what I did and still do today. I rather enjoy it, though some days I would like to pull my hair out. LOL

Northerntiger,
Is your Karate Club alot like a Karate School? What types of activities do you have and what are the ages of the kids or adults who come? Is it a big club or just starting out? It sounds like a good thing.
